Facial Treatments
Microneedling Facials
The primary appeal of microneedling is its ability to stimulate growth of collagen and elastin, which is the key to new, youthful-looking skin. Some doctors would even go so far as to say that this procedure is the most powerful way to stop aging in its tracks and prevent new fine lines and wrinkles from forming.
With its ability to trigger the generation of new skin cells, just a few sessions of microneedling will noticeably reduce fine lines, crow’s feet, and deep wrinkles on the forehead.
Microdermabrasion Facial
Microdermabrasion is a type of deep exfoliation that helps reduce imperfections such as blemishes and small wrinkles. It can also reduce mild acne or acne damage. It is a cosmetic procedure in which the topmost layer of skin, called the stratum corneum, is removed by an abrasive treatment.
Microdermabrasion facials are done in one of two ways: either by exfoliating the skin with fine crystals or by treating it with a diamond-tipped wand. Both treatments include powerful suction to remove the dead skin that is brushed away. The procedure can last from 30 to 60 minutes.
Microneedling with PRP (Plasma)
Microneedling with PRP is a cosmetic treatment that stimulates collagen production by rolling fine needles over the skin and applying platelets, which are one of the components of blood. PRP is plasma in which the concentration of platelets is higher than that of other components of the blood.
Traditional microneedling is used to treat everything from age spots and wrinkles to scarring and certain forms of hyperpigmentation. Although microneedling can be used to treat scars and stretch marks on other areas of the body, most studies with PRP and scars seem to be focused on treatment of the face.
The addition of PRP to microneedling may speed up the healing process and stimulate skin renewal, potentially producing better results than microneedling alone.
European Facial
A European Facial is similar to the deep cleansing facial, but focuses less on the extractions and more on exfoliation. The exfoliation is used to remove dead skin cells and encourage new skin cells to emerge. People often find European facials to be healing and and rejuvenating to the skin. A European facial will add radiance to your skin.
You can expect your skin to be more hydrated, and fine lines reduced through exfoliation and stimulating the growth of new skin cells. Many people find this type of facial helps maintaining a more youthful appearance.
Deep Cleaning Facial
Deep cleansing facials use a variety of treatments to clean your face more thoroughly than what other treatments provide. You can expect to have your face steamed to open up the pores; an extraction of clogged pores, whiteheads and blackheads; a deep pore cleansing treatment and healing masks to improve the skin’s surface and underlying layers.
Enzyme Facial
Enzyme facial treatments exfoliate and rebalances the skin without causing any visible flaking. Enzymes activate when placed on the skin, and selectively eat away only dead skin cells, leaving behind healthy tissue. These treatments are best done in a series, and require no downtime.
Dermaplaning Facial
Red Carpet Dermaplaning facial brings lots of benefits to your skin. For one, it removes the dull, damaged and dead cells that make up the top layer of your skin. Second, it removes “vellus” hairs, which are the soft, blonde hairs that you may find on your upper lip, and possibly on your cheeks, forehead and chin. This hair is also known as peach fuzz. Dermaplaning cannot remove ‘terminal” hairs, which include your eyebrows and nose hair.
Buccal Facial
Have you ever heard of buccal massage? The term (derived from the Latin word bucca, for cheek) is as equally exotic as the technique, which involves massaging muscles deep inside the cheek and jaw area to release tension, improve circulation, and, of course, promote youthful-looking skin.
high Frequency treatments
The high frequency facial is a skin care treatment used by professionals to help treat and prevent stubborn acne, shrink enlarged pores, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, decongest puffy eyes, fade dark eye circles, rejuvenate the skin.
LED Light Therapy
LED, or light emitting diode therapy, is a skincare treatment that uses varying wavelengths of light, including red and blue, green, and yellow. Facts yous should know:
- LED light therapy is now used by some aestheticians to help regenerate the skin from aging. It’s also used for acne.
- Red is primarily used for anti-aging, while blue or is used for acne treatment.
YOUR SAFETY–Unlike other types of light therapy, LEDs do not contain ULTRAVIOLET RAYS therefore, they’re safe for regular use.
LED light therapy doesn’t cause burns compared to other anti-aging treatments such as chemical peels, dermabrasion, and laser therapy. It may be safe for all skin colors and types.
Note. You should NOT use LED light therapy if you take ACCUTANE for acne or if you’re experiencing skin rashes.
Side effects are rare, but may include increased inflammation, redness,
and rashes.
When used as directed, LED light therapy can improve your skin over
time.
Chemical Peels
Different types of Chemical Peels treatment have different benefits. More superficial treatments use mild acids (such as citric or lactic acid) and don’t take very long. Even short, simple treatments provide deeper exfoliation than other facials, leaving your skin looking refreshed and feeling smooth, reducing fine lines or light wrinkles, and sometimes reducing the effects of sun damage.
Adding additional layers to the skin can make a big difference in the treatment. Additional layers can go deeper and make the skin peel even more in certain areas. These types of treatments go well with Microdermabrasion treatment. Additional layers work well for clients who suffer from reacquiring acne.
